HOT TEACHER TRAINING IS APPROACHING!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS.
4 WEEKEND INTENSIVE TRAINING SATURDAY and SUNDAYs
SEPTEMBER 16TH-OCTOBER 9TH
LEARN THE MECHANICS OF THE HOT PRACTICE
Already know how to teach, having trained to teach vinyasa, power, Baptiste, Yin, but you're hungry for more? You see bodies, know how to speak to bodies, inspire alignment and breath, but you want to take all of that knowledge and apply it in a new way, to a new process and new community of practitioners? We have an ADDENDUM FOR YOU! The Co.'s Hot Hatha Addendum is designed for teachers with 200 hour vinyasa, or the equivalent experience, who want to expand their repertoire to include the teaching of the traditional 26/2 Hot Hatha class. In addition to exploring the anatomy and alignment of the basic 26, We Yoga Co.'s Hot addendum will include the six additional postures that are part of our own We Yoga series Hot Hatha class.
In these four weekends we will also discuss the way heat impacts the body and benefits the practice; how to dialogue in a way that helps your students stay present while sweating; and explore the ways in which this practice enhances an established yoga practice and asks for new awareness from both teachers and practitioners.
Earn YA ongoing education credit, explore something new and invigorate your teaching, join us for the We Yoga Hot Hatha Addendum.
* It is HIGHLY recommended that all addendum participants participate in the EMMY CLEAVES weekend June 10-11. As one of the most respected hot hatha teachers in the world, Emmy's workshop will get you ready to dive into the teaching of the hot hatha series--and all proceeds benefit the Nature Conservancy! Go to www.emmyseattle.com to register.

We Ashtanga Summer Series:
FULL 10 CLASS SERIES: $120

A flowing, athletic form of hatha yoga, Ashtanga is often viewed as the traditional precursor to the popular Vinyasa style. Rooted in the original set sequence of the Ashtanga Primary Series, We Yoga's Summer Ashtanga classes will take an accessible approach to this time-tested yoga form. Over the course of 10 classes, We Yogis will learn the essential ashtanga poses as well as preparations and techniques to dive deeper into this meditative style of classical yoga. With a focus on posture alignment, rhythm, and dynamic movement, this practice will provide the opportunity to explore new asana work while maintaining a focus on breath, community and awareness.

Yoga Behind Bars (YBB) is Washington State’s only nonprofit organization offering yoga and meditation classes to thousands of men, women and youth in prisons, jails and detention centers. Starting with one yoga teacher in one facility in 2008, today a team of 50+ yoga instructors teach 25 classes a week in 12 correctional facilities in the greater Puget Sound region, sharing proven tools that promote health and self-awareness. Yoga Behind Bars believes in the ripple effect and innate goodness. Every student has a community waiting outside. On the day they re-integrate with society, they will have tools to help them succeed instead of recede.

This 2 1/2 hr workshop will prepare students to safely stretch and stabilize the torso to gain a greater range of spinal motion.
